I also just finished the series with my girlfriend. It's a very powerful show, and it's unfortunate that nay-sayers can't get past the blood and nudity. It's so powerful, dramatic, with such a deep and tangled storyline...I think this version of the song plays the story out exactly as I saw it. Bravo.

I was waiting for the drums to kick in, but they didn't. If you throw in a good, simple bassline with the UNTS UNTS UNTS UNTS thing going, it would really make this track sing.

Sorry, but while it sounds nice, it very, very, VERY closely resembles the same exact instruments used in "Lightspeed" from OC Remix. Sounds like an echo filter was laid over the track.

If, however, it's all your own work, then it's quite good.

After listening to all three, I think this is your best one! The first song, which I vaguely remember from my childhood(since I almost never got up to that level in Sonic 3D Blast :P) is now stuck in my head. The Doomsday Zone isn't my favorite as far as music goes, but that's not your fault. The transition into Chemical Plant is perfect, and that's the best, most direct remix of that song! Excellent job on that! Lastly, the way you bring us into Lava Reef sounds like there's a rave going on, perfectly done.

The pitch shift thing is pretty easy to do, open the file in soundforge or something and put a 'flange' on it. This is pretty good for a remake, maybe remix it?
